Vinnie Classroom Recital 2017 - 01

After a year of hiatus, we are back! This time round, we took our students to a brand new location for the recital! The Substation Theatre! The Substation is home to many successful arts and music events, we consider it an iconic location!

Running a recital is not an easy task! Apart from guiding our students to perfecting their songs, we had to ensure the whole show will run smooth! This is not possible without our team of teachers! My brother Vics (who runs VFJ Creations) took care of the wonderful photos you get to see in this album and the setting up of the video cameras. Joash, Leonard and Sweesiang ensured that all students will be able to get the best sound on stage. Zee was the most extraordinary as she had to juggle with all the performers backstage, making sure they are well fed and ready to take the stage on cue! Special thanks to Jubilee who came to help with the kids on their make up and hairdo! Our student Jeremy for styling the little boys' hair and Tze Hong for checking the tickets at the door! Also, Keith from The Analog Factory, for providing all the wonderful top notch instruments and backline! Contact them for all your live sound or recording needs!

My heartfelt appreciation to all who came for the recital! Your attendance made a difference to the students who performed! Your applause touched the students' heart. Your smile when you see the achievements of your child/friend is what matters to us music educators the most!

I will be uploading the photos in batches due to our workload. To view a new batch of photo as soon as possible, consider follow our facebook page.I am also uploading videos from the night, hopefully 1 video every day. To watch them, consider subscribing to our youtube channel

Jenell wasn't sure if she could play in a band initially. She definitely fit well with the boys after some practice!

When Shayne first started her lessons with us, she had this problem of speaking to me! I'm glad that has since long gone and her level of confidence is growing stronger everyday!
